Beginning April 1, 2026, boaters in Massachusetts must possess a Boater Safety Certificate (begins 4/1/26 for people born AFTER 1/1/1989; begins 4/1/28 for people born BEFORE 1/1/1989).
This class is a MUST for boaters of all ages. This course if being offered by Boatwise. Taking this course will be well worth it - just for the knowledge you'll gain - and may entitle you to a discount on your boater's insurance.
Learn the aspects of boating safely and legally in TWO SESSIONS of classroom instruction. A "must" for all boaters, all ages. This class usually lowers your boat insurance premium. Massachusetts approved for young operator's permit (age 12 - 16). Tuition: $120.00 per person (includes both sessions).
