• Celebration of Life - F. Arthur Chaisson, Jr.

  Celebration of Life - June 27th

  The NYC lost a close friend this week, Arthur Chaisson passed on December 31st. 

  Arthur was a founding partner of the Boatworks Marina, which later became the Newburyport Yacht Club; worked on the river as a Deputy Harbormaster for the City of Newburyport for 24 years; and was a life member of the North End Boat Club.  During his years on the river, he became the “go-to” man for local boating knowledge and expertise of the Merrimac.  

  The family is arranging a celebration of life to be held at the Newburyport Yacht Club on Saturday, June 27th.  Exact times will be confirmed at a later date.
